Fields of Rape

My diploma film from 2016 is finally released online today. It's is a 10 minute film that I made as a pilot for an ultra-sad animated series. Will it ever get made? Well, I don't know. It will certainly take some time... Enjoy this episode for now!

There's also a trailer for the series here:

Legit a good movie. Also i will repeat the question from Twitter. What stopped you from continuing or even publishing this?

I planned making another few episode before publishing the first one, so the audience wouldn't need to wait so long for another one.

But I soon realized that it would take years of my life to do this. With my animation+games studio also getting off the ground, I just can't see myself doing this series in the next few years. Also I'm no longer as depressed as I was back then, which makes it harder to get in the right mind set.

@phenorax @exotworking Well, hopefully you will get on working on it someday.Till that day however, whatchu planning to do in the meantime?

I hope so too! In the next years I'll be making games mostly. A small mini game together with Waldemar Schuur, a big game with the whole Studio and also some physical board games. Also I'm still doing some work on The Longing, which will be released on other platforms next year.

@phenorax @exotworking @exotworking I will be looking forward to it.You got an interesting way of going about these things and for one am curious what next project you will be putting on the table.

thx, I am curious myself :)

This is very dark. Dark like doom/black metal.
Great work!

thanks man! I listen to a lot of doom+black metal, although I would say this one was more inspired by dark ambient.

Where's the swf file. 2020 is living in the future, so you get compressed videos instead of lossless vectors.

Yes, swfs were the best. Unfortunately, the film is multiple swf files with additional effects and compositing, so there wouldn't be a single swf of it, only parts.

Alright then. :)
